The lodge is owned and operated by Allen and Maria Mills, and has been running for 7 years as Popoara Ocean Breeze Villas and The Boat Shed Bar and Grill. Only recently has it become a must do location for travelling fly fisherman. Allen and Maria have always strived for an atmosphere that not only caters to tourists but also locals, and because of this the bar and restaurant has a great ambiance that makes you feel like a local from the time you walk in.

Allen has been involved in the fishing and hospitality industries for as long as anyone on the islands can remember, and Maria just has the feel for making all guests welcome. The staff are locals and can share the stories and traditions of the island and are the friendliest you will ever meet.
